We do realize, however, that all needs may not be met for those who are disabled. If there is an unmet need that we can remedy, please contact the office during regular business hours to discuss measures to make our school a more comfortable environment. Students with learning disabilities are responsible for contacting admissions at the school to request assistance.

Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) Information

  • Congress set aside approximately $14.25 billion of the $30.75 billion allotted to the Education Stabilization Fund through the CARES Act for the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). The Department awarded these grants to institutions of higher education (IHE) based on a formula stipulated in the legislation.
  • Allstate Hairstyling & Barber College has signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that our institution intends to use no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
  • Our institution received $51,395.00 on August 28th, 2020 from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
  • As of September 4th, 2020, our institution has distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act a total of $37,557.87.
  • Twenty-six (26) students at the institution are or could be eligible to participate in the Federal student financial aid programs under Section 484  of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, and thus are eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
  • Nineteen (19) students have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
  • Allstate Hairstyling & Barber College determined how many students were eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants based on whether they were enrolled at the time the institution was required to close our physical location (March 19th, 2020) and returned to school when we reopened (May 26th, 2020). Students must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to receive the funds. Any student who is not currently meeting SAP will be evaluated again during the next SAP evaluation period. If the student meets SAP during this evaluation period they will receive the funds at that time. The institution divided the funds equally between the twenty-six (26) possible eligible students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
