Enrollment Dates and Terms of Course
Students are encouraged to apply early, as the school has a wait list. Classes are held five days per week, Tues- Sat 9:00A-5:00P. Students have two 15 minute breaks, and one 30 minute lunch, daily. Attending the 1800-hr program full time (35 hrs/week) allows students to reach full completion, graduating in just about 12 months.
Students attending 25 or more hours per week are considered full-time. Students attending less than 25 hours per week are considered
part-time. Schedules are completed during the enrollment registration and are expected to be maintained unless a schedule change is completed and on file with the office. All students are expected to attend every Saturday. The school accepts only a limited number of part-time applicants at one time.
Curriculum & Offerings
1800 HR Barber:
Classroom and clinical work teach students the fundamental theories, techniques, and scientific practices of being a barber and prepares them to successfully pass the Ohio State Barber Board Exam.
1000 HR Barber:
Classroom and clinical work enhances the skill set of the licensed cosmetologist and prepares them for licensure in Ohio as a barber/hairstylist.
Objectives & Philosophy

- To provide a well-rounded educational program fitting the needs and demands of the barber profession.
- To provide students with the theory and practical knowledge required of a barber licensed in the state of Ohio while preparing them to successfully pass the Ohio State Barber Board Exam.
- Train stylists to become successfully employed upon graduation, including training in business methods required to own a shop.

Financial Aid
Students enrolled in the 1800 HR or 1000 HR program may be eligible for Federal Student

Davion Flanagan Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was created to help honor Davion Flanagan whose life was taken from him in a tragic automobile crash in 2022. Davion’s dream was to attend barber college and open his own shop one day. He was known for his kindheartedness, his love of friends and family, and his passion for sports. This scholarship aims to help those who wish to follow their own goal in becoming a barber. In helping others, his family intends to carry on Davion’s legacy in the hopes and dreams of other aspiring barbers.
The Flanagan Scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled and decided by the scholarship board.
